Who actually reads a chemical producer's website?
The buyer with a spec list
They need one product for one process and they're comparing three suppliers. Trade name, pack sizes, minimum order and a quick way to send an inquiry with company details. If that takes digging, they move on.
The EHS officer and the process engineer
Before anything reaches the plant floor, someone reads the SDS and the hazard labelling, and an engineer checks dilution, working temperature and substrate compatibility in the TDS. So those files sit on the product page, always the current revision.
The customer who wants proof of “eco”
“Biodegradable” without evidence now reads as greenwashing, and EU rules increasingly expect environmental claims to be substantiated. Each claim on the site points to the standard or test behind it instead of stock photos of leaves.

CTJLZone.pl – website for an industrial chemicals producer, 2025
CTJL Zone, a Polish company, makes and distributes biodegradable cleaning agents and chemical preparations for industry. I split the offer into product groups (liquid and powder paints, glass adhesives, thermal insulation coatings and more), gave every product its own page and added a second route by sector: heavy industry, rail, urban and maritime transport. There are no prices on the site. The contact form asks for the company name, so sales get qualified inquiries.
What the project includes
How we build your catalog site
Product review
We go through your product list and the documents you already have. We pin down who buys (distributors, manufacturing plants, cleaning contractors) and what they need to see before they get in touch. That decides the catalog structure.
Structure and design
I design the product page and the filtered listing first, because that's where visitors spend their time. The look stays calm and technical, with green accents only where the eco claims are backed by documents.
Development
Built in Next.js, with an admin panel for products and PDF files, structured product data and redirects if we're replacing an old site. Inquiries go straight to the right inbox.
Launch and handover
I test on phones and desktops, connect Google Search Console and analytics, and show you how to add a product or swap an SDS after a revision. We work remotely, so a video call is all it takes.
